We take advantage of the most advanced technologies to create individualized 3-dimensional treatment plans and to get the best outcomes. Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) is employed particularly for treatment of the head, neck and other areas following the contours of the body while Stereotactic Radiosurgery is used on abnormalities of the brain that cannot be surgically treated. Physicians refer their patients to Turville Bay for our computer guided and advanced technologies and for the combined expertise of our physicians and staff.
Quick patient turnaround. Patients are referred to us from all over south central Wisconsin from a vast network of physicians and clinics. For MRI, diagnostic imaging patients are seen the same day in urgent cases, and we endeavor to see every patient as their case allows. In our radiation oncology department treatment planning and care begins upon referral.
Fast and accurate reporting. Our radiology partners and referring physicians view patient images immediately utilizing the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). Turville Bay is linked to our local community hospitals by Electronic Medical Records (EMR), allowing us to supply fast and accurate reporting that enables a fast and accurate patient diagnosis.
Communication is Key. In cancer care communication is important. As we care for patients daily during treatments their progress is carefully monitored as Turville Bay radiation oncologists are in constant communication with referring physicians.
