About Our Facility

Turville Bay MRI and Radiation Oncology Center provides diagnostic scans and radiation therapy treatment to patients in South Central Wisconsin. We are committed to providing state of the art, high-quality, professional, and accessible services.

As a joint venture between Meriter Hospital and St. Marys Medical Center, Turville Bay MRI Center began operations in 1986 for the sole purpose of providing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) services at our freestanding clinic located on John Nolen Drive in Madison, Wisconsin. In 1992 and 1994 we expanded by adding MRI satellite units at St. Marys and Meriter Hospitals.

Southern Wisconsin Radiotherapy Center was established in 1989.  In January 1995, Meriter and St. Marys Hospitals acquired the treatment center and, expanded the facilities, joining the radiation therapy center with the MRI building.  In 2004, Turville Bay MRI Centers and Southern Wisconsin Radiotherapy Center became Turville Bay MRI and Radiation Oncology Center.

Our Board of Directors is committed to keeping our equipment state of the art and our focus on excellence in patient care. The dedication of our staff has made us very proud of the services we provide, and our byline of “Exceptional Care, Exceptional People” is a true reflection of our staff.

“Our staff is a wonderful team totally dedicated to the patients.”

Our Community

Madison, the state capital and home of the world-class University of Wisconsin, is consistently ranked as one of the best communities in the country in which to live, work, play, and raise a family. Madison was ranked number 1 by Outdoor Magazine and USA Today, and Money Magazine called us the most livable mid-sized city in the Midwest.

The city offers both small-town charm and a range of cultural and recreational opportunities on par with much larger cities. Madison has more restaurants per capita than any other city in the country, and our downtown Arts District is flourishing. With four lakes and over 200 parks, there is a great variety of activities available to the outdoor enthusiast, including sailing, hiking, biking, and more!

Madison has it all - art, recreation, education - a unique mix of urban sophistication and rural charm.
